Cookd masalas for besan flour
Method
Whisk the besan, curd, turmeric powder, ajwain, red chilli powder, salt and coriander leaves with the water to a smooth, pourable batter with no lumps. Cover and rest for 10 minutes.
Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan on medium heat. Fry the onion, capsicum and green chilli for 2 minutes until soft. Add the tomato, crumbled paneer, salt and coriander leaves and mix for 1 minute. Turn off the heat.
Heat a tawa on medium heat for 2 minutes and grease it lightly. Pour one ladle of batter and spread it into a thin round. Drizzle 1/2 tsp oil around the edges. Cook for 2 minutes until the top is set and the bottom is golden.
Turn it over and cook for 1 minute. Put 2 tbsp of the paneer filling on one half and fold the chilla over it. Cook for 30 seconds more. Make the rest the same way. Serve hot with green chutney.
