Method

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add the coriander leaves, chopped green chilli, grated coconut, tamarind. Saute this for 3 minutes.

Transfer this to a mixer grinder and grind it into a smooth paste with 2 tbsp of water.

In another pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil, add mustard seeds, asafoetida, urad dal, chana dal.

Once this splutters, add the ground paste, salt and cook for 3 minutes. Add Ghee.

Add 5 cups of water and bring it to a boil.

Reduce the flame to low and add the Rice Rava and stir continuously. Cook this for 10 mins or until the mixture becomes thick.

Once this cools down, make even sized balls of the mixture and steam cook it in an idly pot for 10 mins.
