Wash the Foxtail millets and keep aside.

Puree 3 tomatoes in a mixer grinder.

Heat a pressure cooker, add 1 tbsp of oil, mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal and let the mustard seeds splutter. Add 5 cashew pieces and roast until golden brown. Add thinly sliced onions, chopped green chilli and cook until the onions are translucent.

Add the tomato puree and continue to cook. Add the red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and salt. Saute this for a minute.

Add the chopped coriander leaves, washed Fox Tail millet and 4 cups of water. Pressure cook this for 4 whistles and let the pressure settle down on its own.
