    In a bowl/plate, mix together the spice powders, salt and ginger garlic paste. Add a few drops of water and mix it into a thick paste.

    Make slits on the fish. Mix it carefully with the prepared marination. Rest for at least 20 minutes at room temperature. You can store it for longer in the fridge.

    Heat up a flat frying pan with coconut oil. Spread a layer of curry leaves on the bottom. This will prevent sticking. Place the fish pieces in the pan on medium-high heat. Do not overcrowd the pan. Cook for 3 minutes, until the bottom side starts to turn crisp. Flip the fish pieces and cook for another 4 minutes until fully crisp. Serve as a starter or with rice.

    What you have added to the recipe is really good. The things we add at home apart from this are Coriander powder, cumin powder and rice fllour and grinding the curry leaves along with the rest of the masala. So try adding these to the already existing recipe. Keep rocking guys!
