    For the paste add all the ingredients into a blender and blend it into a smooth paste.

    In a deep pan add the peanut oil and ghee, add the whole garam masalas, and once aromatic add the sliced onion and green chillis and saute for 30 seconds. Add the paste and cook until the raw flavour goes away, then add tomatoes, coriander leaves. Saute until the leaves wilt.

    Add the chicken and cook for 2 minutes. Add mint leaves, coconut milk, salt, water, and lemon juice and bring it to a boil.

    Add soaked jeera samba rice and mix gently making sure the chicken doesn’t break. Bring it to a boil and simmer the flame and cook on low heat for 12-14 minutes. Rest the biryani for at least 15 minutes, fluff up the rice and serve.
