    Make a curry paste of garlic, ginger, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and salt.

    In the same pan, saute the shallots, onion, ginger, green chilli and tomato. Add the remaining paste.

    Add the fish and let it simmer. Place a sprig of curry leaves and fish onto a banana leaf and tie it together. Shallow fry it on a pan.
