    To a pan with oil, on a medium-high flame, add your slit green chillies. After they start to blister, add your Chicken and let it sear. Flip once a nice golden color has appeared on one side, and add the salt

    Once the chicken is golden brown on all sides , reduce the flame to low and add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder and turmeric. Stir to incorporate. Once the spices are toasted, add enough water to come halfway up the chicken. Let the Chicken simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes or until tender. If the water evaporates before the Chicken is tender, keep adding more bit by bit

    I forgot to take a photo but here are a few things I did slightly differently from recipe that worked for me. 1) I took out the chicken so that I could cook the masala because my pan was not big enough for 10 drumsticks 2) I added a tiny amount of water while cooking the masala because it was sticking to my pan. because I added this water it helped me better coat the drumsticks 3) because I used water and for a better coat I let the chicken simmer a further few mins on really low heat and covered it up on both sides. spicy but delicious recipe and this is going into my to do in the future
