To cook ready-made vermicelli, soak the vermicelli in boiling water for 5 mins. Strain and set aside.

Heat the oil and ghee and splutter the mustard seeds. Add the urad dal, cashew nuts, curry leaves. ginger and chilies and saute for a minute. And then add coconut.
