    Cut the chicken into large pieces. Add salt, turmeric powder and water and pressure cook for 15 mins on a low flame after the first whistle on a high flame.

    Allow the pressure to release naturally and shred the chicken pieces and discard the bones.

    In a kadai, heat oil and add the mustard seeds and let them splutter, add the red chillies and curry leaves. Add the shallots and saute until brown.
