    Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add the mutton chops and sear for a few seconds on a high flame. Add the remaining ingredients, mix well. Pressure cook the mutton for 6 whistles. Take it off the flame and let the steam reduce gradually.

    Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, peppercorns and let it crackle. Add garlic and saute for a few seconds. Add the onions and saute till they turn translucent. Cool the mixture down and blend it to a fine paste.

    Heat a kadai, add oil. Add fennel seeds, curry leaves and let them crackle.

    Add the masala paste and cook it on a medium flame for 2 minutes.

    Add the pressure cooked mutton along with the water and mix well till all ingredients combine evenly. Cover and cook the mutton on a low flame for 10 minutes.

    Check the seasoning and add salt if necessary. Add Black Pepper Powder. Mix well. Add coriander leaves, mix well once and take it off the flame. Serve it hot with rice or parotta or any tiffin item.
