Method

    Cut the mutton liver into 1 inch cubes. Marinate with salt and turmeric powder. Set aside for 15 minutes, while we cook the masala.

    Heat oil in a pan and add the shallots. Cook until golden brown.

    Add green chilli and ginger garlic paste. Saute for a minute.

    Add the tomato and mix. Add all the spice powders and salt. Saute for 2 minutes.

    Add the marinated mutton liver. Saute for 2 minutes on high heat.

    Add water and bring it to a boil. Cover and reduce the heat to low, and cook for 15 minutes. Remove the lid and continue cooking until any excess moisture has evaporated. Sprinkle coriander leaves and mix. Serve hot with rice, kal dosa or parotta.
