  2. 2

For the stuffing, mix the sattu (roasted gram flour), onion, green chillies, coriander leaves, garlic, ajwain, kalonji, lemon juice, salt, mustard oil and Cookd Pickle Powder. Sprinkle the water and mix with your fingers until the stuffing holds together when pressed but is still crumbly.

  3. 3

Divide the dough into 8 balls. Roll one ball into a 4-inch round. Put about 3 tbsp of stuffing in the centre, bring the edges together, seal well and flatten gently.

  4. 4

Dust it with a little flour and roll it gently into a 7-inch paratha, taking care that the stuffing does not come out.

  5. 5

Heat a tawa on medium heat for 2 minutes. Put the paratha on it and cook for 1 minute until small bubbles appear. Turn it over and cook for 1 minute.

  6. 6

Spread a little ghee on both sides and cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, pressing with a spatula, until golden brown spots appear. Make the rest the same way. Serve hot with curd and pickle.
