    Wash and soak the rice for 20 minutes

    Heat a pressure cooker and add oil. Add cumin, fennel, curry leaves, green chilli and let it crackle. Add the chopped onions and saute till it turns light brown.

    Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a few seconds. Add the masala powders and mix for a few seconds. Add the chopped tomatoes and saute till it turns soft.

    Add water, salt and bring it to a boil. Add the soaked and strained rice, give it a good mix and tightly close the cooker. Pressure cook for 4 whistles on a medium flame and turn off the flame.

    In a pan/ Kadai, add oil, green chilli and onions. Saute until the onions are soft. Add the tomato, and saute until soft throughout.

    Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Saute until the raw smell disappears. Add the eggs and mix along with everything. Let the eggs set for a minute and then stir it. Keep sauteeing it until the eggs are fully cooked.

    Let the steam reduce gradually. Fluff up the rice and let it sit for 5 minutes.
