Marinate the fish in salt and turmeric powder.

Make a paste of 2 tomatoes, strain and set aside.

Fry the potato slices in the oil until golden brown and set aside.

Fry the fish in oil for 3 minutes and set aside.

Add mustard oil and 1 sliced onions and the slit green chillies. Saute for a minute and add the onion paste of 1 onion. Saute for 3 mins.

Add the tomato puree and simmer for 4 minutes. Add the powdered spices and salt, and continue to saute.

Add the potatoes, a cup of water and boil for 5 minutes.
