Method

    Pour the water into a metal bowl. Tie a muslin cloth over it dipping the centre in the water. Add the tea leaves in it.

    In a pressure cooker, place a metal object to slightly elevate the surface. Add 1 ½ cups of water and place the bowl in the cooker. Cook for 5 whistles on high flame.

    Remove it out and squeeze the muslin cloth. This is the decoction.

    For the milk, heat it in a saucepan along with cardamom. Once it comes to a boil, reduce the flame and allow it to simmer for 10 minutes, stirring regularly.

    Add the condensed milk and mix well. Switch off the heat.

    Add the thickened milk into two cups. Add the decoction on top and serve. Add 1 tsp of sugar if you prefer.
