    In a pan pour peanut oil, once hot add coriander seeds and cumin. Once aromatic add channa dal, urad dal, and white sesame seeds and tamarind. Saute for 20 more seconds or until golden brown and aromatic.

    Add the curry leaves and cook until the leaves wilt and turn aromatic. Take it off the heat.

    Add it to a blender and add grated coconut, black peppercorns, green chilli and dry red chilli and salt. Blend into a coarse paste and serve with hot white rice. Store refrigerated for up to a week.
