Heat water in a pot and bring it to a boil. Add the eggs gently and boil it for 12 minutes. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water immediately. Peel the eggs, cut it into halves.

Heat a pan, add oil and fry the boiled eggs in it.

To a blender, add the ingredients required for the puree and blend it to a fine paste.

Heat a kadai, add oil. Add curry leaves, green chilli and let it crackle. Add the onions and saute till it turns light brown. Add the blended paste to it and cook it for 2 minutes.

Add the dry masala powders and cook it for a minute.Add tomatoes and cook till it becomes soft and mushy.

Add water, bring it to a boil. Cover and simmer the gravy for 5 minutes. Season the gravy. Add the fried egg and mix gently. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot with dosa.
