    Wash and Soak the tapioca pearls/ sabudana with water, 1 inch above the level of the dry tapioca pearls. For 3 hours up to overnight depending on the quality. Drain and set aside.

    Heat oil in a kadai and add the small potato dices, cook until tender.

    Add the cumin seeds, saute until aromatic and browned. Add the chopped chilli and ginger and mix well.

    Next, add the soak and drained tapioca pearls, crushed peanuts, salt and sugar. Mix well for 4-5 minutes on a medium flame, until the tapioca pearl becomes translucent.
