    Wash and soak rice for 30 minutes.

    In a stock pot or a large pot add the aromatic herbs and spics along with oil and saute until aromatic. Pour water and let it come to a simmer.

    Add the chicken legs and simmer it for 20 minutes. Extract the chicken legs carefully and set aside. Strain the stock and use it to cook the rice.

    In a pan, add oil, garlic, saute and add the soaked basmati rice. Add in the stock, and add salt. Cover and cook for 12 minutes. Once the rice is done garnish it with coriander leaves, serve it with the chicken and chopped peanuts.
