Cookd masalas for soya chunks

Method

    Soak the soya in hot water and 1 tsp of salt (optional) Squeeze out the water completely after 15-20 minutes and keep it aside.

    Heat 4 tbsp of coconut oil in a pan. Add 20g ( ¼ cup) of coconut chunks. Fry till golden. Add 3 sliced onions (180g) and a sprig of curry leaves.

    Once the onions and fry until they turn golden brown. Add the soya, 2 tbsp of thick curd and ¼ cup of water. Add the ½ pouch (20-25g) of masala.

    Cook until the masala is dry and coating the meat. Finish with a fresh sprig of curry leaves and dry red chilli bits (2-3 nos).
