Soak the tamarind in water for 20 miniutes Peel the tapioca and cut them into small bits.

Pressure cook the tapioca for 1 whistle and let the pressure settle. Strain the tapioca into another pot and set aside.

In a mixer jar, add all the ingredients for the paste and blend into a very fine paste. Add the paste to the cooked tapioca and mix until thoroughly combined and cook the tapioca mixture until the raw flavour of the paste disappears.

Add the cleaned prawns and cook for 3-4 minutes or until prawns are cooked. In a tadka pan pour coconut oil, mustard seeds, dry red chilli and curry leaves Once aromatic add the tadka to the tapioca mixture and give it a good mix. Serve Hot.
