Heat a pan, add all the spices required for the masala and dry roast it till it gives out an aroma. Blend it to a coarse powder

Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, curry leaves, green chilli and let it crackle

Add garlic and saute it for a few seconds

Add the sliced onions and saute till it turns translucent

Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute on a medium flame

Add the dry powders and saute for a minute till it is rid of any raw flavor.

Add the mushrooms and saute till it is almost cooked and add 2 tbsp of the chukka masala and mix well.

Add salt and mix well. Add chopped coriander leaves, give it one final toss on a high flame. Transfer it to a bowl, garnish it with coriander leaves, serve it hot.
