    Add the tamarind water and let it cook for 7-8 minutes. Reduce the flame to a simmer and let the rasam slightly cool down.

    Create a whirlpool using a spatula and break in the eggs one by one. Let the eggs poach for 2-3 minutes on a simmer. Take the eggs out and set aside.
