    In a cooker add onion, tomato, and channa dal and cook it for 5 whistles on a medium flame. (around 15 mins)

    Once the pressure dissipates, open the cooker and add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, and goat’s blood. Close the cooker and cook it for 5 minutes without the whistle.

    Add oil, fennel seeds, cinnamon, and bay leaf, and saute for 1 minute in a kadai. Now add the cooked blood mixture to the kadai. Add the coconut paste, and half a cup of water and simmer it for 5 minutes.
