Method

Grate 3/4th of the paneer using the large-sized grater. Chop the remaining paneer into small cubes, or crumble it roughly using your hands. This adds more texture to the dish.

Heat oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds. Add the garlic, ginger, onion and green chilli. Saute until the onion turns translucent.

Add the turmeric powder, salt, Kashmiri chilli powder, coriander powder and cumin powder. Saute for a minute.

Add the tomatoes and cook until they soften.

Add the cashew paste and water, then saute for 3-4 minutes.

Add the garam masala powder, Kasuri methi, and coriander leaves. Cook for 30 seconds and remove from the heat. Serve hot with roti or pav.

We had a special prayer day in our house.So,I had to omit onion and garlic.Also,I didn't put cashew paste,garam masala & cream.And the product that I got was not so satisfactory.It needed more than 3/4 tsp salt and more kashmiri mirch masala I guess.
