Cookd masalas for raw rice

Method

    Wash and soak the raw rice for at least 4 hours. You can also soak it overnight. Strain the rice and spread it on a thick cloth. Allow it to dry for 30 minutes.

    Grind it into a fine powder.

    Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Add coconut milk, sugar and salt.

    Add maida and beat until there are no lumps.

    Add the rice flour a little at a time until completely mixed in. Add the black sesame seeds.

    Heat oil in a Kadai along with the metal mould. The mould should be heated properly.

    Dip the heated mould in the batter almost all the way through. It should not be dipped completely. Place the mould in the oil and shake it quickly to release the batter. Deep fry until it turns golden brown. Store it in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks.
