    Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, ginger, garlic, green chillies and let it crackle.

    Add the onions saute till it turns light brown. Add green chilli and saute for a few seconds.

    Add the masala powders and cook it for a minute on a low flame.

    Add the potatoes, mix it well and let it fry on a high flame for 2 minutes while mixing continuously.

    Add the tomatoes and saute till they get soft.

    Add water, Mix it well. Cover and let it cook till the water almost evaporates.

    Add the green peas when there is little water remaining. Mix it well.

    Season the mixture with salt and sugar. Add the chopped coriander leaves, mix it well. Transfer it to a bowl, garnish it with a coriander sprig. Serve it hot with rice/roti.
