Cut the cauliflower stem and cut it into florets. Wash them.

Bring a pot of water to a boil and add turmeric powder and salt. Add the cauliflower pieces, cover and boil for 1 minute only. Strain it and allow the water to drain.

For the marination, add all the ingredients together. Add water gradually and form it into a smooth batter.

Heat oil for deep-frying. Coat the cauliflower pieces with the batter and fry on medium heat until crisp, around 6-8 minutes. Remove from the oil and set aside.

Mix together the curd, cornflour and tomato ketchup. Set aside.

Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, ginger, green chilli and curry leaves. Saute for 30 seconds.

Add salt and red chilli powder, and mix on low heat. Add the curd and mix. Add the fried cauliflower and coriander leaves. Toss for 2 minutes on high heat. Serve as an appetizer.
