    Combine the cornstarch and water together in a bowl.

    In a pan, combine the sugar and 2 ½ cups of water. Heat it until the sugar dissolves.

    Add the cornstarch mixture to the sugar syrup and mix well on a medium-low flame.

    Once it starts to thicken and become glossy, add in 2 tbsp of ghee and mix well. Repeat this step until all the ghee is used up. A total of ¾ cup of ghee will be used for this recipe.

    After around 30 minutes, the mixture will start to leave the sides of the pan. Add the cardamom powder, chopped nuts and orange food colour. Mix well until evenly combined.

    Pour into a mould greased with ghee. Allow it to set for 2 hour until it has cooled down and solidified.

    Cut into pieces and serve.
