Cookd masalas for paneer

    To a pot, add the potatoes and enough water to cover them. Bring it to a boil and add salt. If the potatoes are large, prick them with a fork for faster cooking. Cover with a lid and cook until the potatoes are soft enough to be pierced with a fork. This would take 15-20 mins. Peel the potatoes and mash them in a bowl.

    Grate paneer and add it to the potatoes.

    Add all the other ingredients and mix to form a uniform mixture. Make small kofta balls from the mixture. Roll it gently.

    Heat oil for frying. Add the kofta on medium heat without overcrowding the pan. Don’t mix them for at least 1 minute. Turn them around occasionally and fry until it is brown on all sides. Remove from the oil and set aside.

    In a pan, heat oil and add the curry paste. Saute for a minute.

    Turn the heat to low and add the milk. Mix continuously until fully mixed, then increase the heat to medium. Allow the mixture to come to a boil.

    Add water and boil for 2 minutes. Add cream, mix and remove from the heat. To serve, pour the gravy into a bowl and add the fried Kofta. Garnish with some fresh cream and chopped coriander leaves. Serve with roti, naan or rice.
