    In a pan, add oil, once the oil is hot add cumin seeds, black peppercorns, split urad dal, chana dal, dried red chilli and curry leaves. Saute this on low heat for 4 mins

    Remove from the heat, allow it to cool. Once the ingredients have cooled down, grind into a fine powder using a mixer grinder.

    Take prawns in a bowl, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice. Mix well. Add Maida to bind everything together. Mix well and keep aside.

    Heat oil in a deep frying pan, once the oil is hot, add the prawns and deep fry for 2 mins.

    Take the fried prawns in a mixing bowl, sprinkle the required quantity of curry leaf powder on top of the prawns. Toss to mix well. Serve hot as an appetizer.
