Method

    In a bowl add 1 ¼ tbsp yeast and 1 cup water and let it bloom.

    In another bowl add the dry ingredients and olive 3 tbsp olive oil and mix it well.

    Add the yeast and water mixture and knead it to a soft, elastic dough

    Transfer the dough into a bowl with flour dusted on the base and sides and cover it with a cloth.

    Let the dough ferment for 1 hour.

    Give the dough a knockback and let it ferment for another 30 minutes

    In a sheet pan, brush olive oil evenly on the base and sides, transfer the dough to the sheet pan and spread the dough evenly from end to end.

    Make little crevices with your fingers on the dough.

    Add the olives and rosemary on the dough and press it in.

    Bake it at 180 degrees celsius for the first 20 minutes and at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.

    I tried foccacia for the first time and I'm so happy with the results. I didn't have olives and rosemary with me so i substituted it for cherry tomatoes,garlic and mixed italian herbs.I loved eating it with cheese and tomatoes with egg.It was good for a week in room temperature for me😊.Happy baking everyone 🥳
