    If the chicken breast is too large, slice it to make two thin slices. Place the chicken breast between two sheets of plastic/cling wrap. Use a meat hammer or a heavy pan to pound the chicken breast until it is even in thickness (around ½-inch thick).

    Keep breadcrumbs, maida and egg beaten with water in separate plates/flat bowls.

    Salt the chicken with salt and pepper. Dredge the chicken breast in maida, and shake off the excess flour. Add it to the beaten eggs and then into the panko breadcrumbs and coat completely.

    Add it into a pan of hot oil and fry until golden brown and crisp, turning it halfway through. The frying should take around 4-5 minutes.
