    Mix all the dry ingredients together.

    Add water and mix to form a thick but flowing batter.

    Using a flat perforated ladle/spoon, drop the batter into hot oil. Make sure that the oil is hot enough while frying.

    Deep fry until crisp and the oil has stopped sizzling. Remove it onto kitchen towel/tissue to absorb the excess oil.

    Fry cashew until golden brown. And then fry curry leaves in the oil, until they turn crispy. Add that to the boondhi.
