    In a kadai, heat some oil and add garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 4 minutes until they turn golden brown. Now add the chillies and curry leaves, and sauté for a few seconds.

    Next, add the onion and brinjal, and cook for about 10 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
