    Heat oil in a pan and add the cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, star anise and cumin seeds. Add the ginger, garlic, green chillies and saute.

    Add the onion and cook until it turns golden brown.

    Add all the spice powders and the tomato puree. Cook for 4 minutes.

    Add the minced mutton. Cook for 2 minutes on high flame, stirring continuously. Add water.

    Add the green peas and cook for 2 more minutes. Cook it reaches the desired consistency, if required. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves and stir. Serve hot with pav/rice/roti.
