Cookd masalas for sardine fish

Method

  1. 1

Get ready by cleaning the sardines well and removing the heads and insides. Rinse them gently and keep them aside. Slice the shallots and tomato, crush the ginger and garlic, slit the green chillies, and soak the tamarind in 100 ml water for 10 minutes.

  2. 2

Heat 1 tablespoon coconut oil in a kadai on medium flame for 1 minute until warm. Add the fenugreek seeds and fry for 30 seconds until they turn light brown. Add the shallots, garlic, ginger, curry leaves and green chillies. Fry for 4 to 5 minutes until the shallots turn soft.
