    In a pan roast all the ingredients until golden brown and aromatic and let it cool down completely.. Once cooled blend into a fine paste and set aside

    In a pressure cooker add oil and saute shallots and onion until translucent. Add tomato, turmeric powder and salt and cook until it turns mushy. Add the prepared paste and saute for 10 seconds.

    Add mutton, pour water into the pressure cooker and cook on a moderate flame for 10- 11 whistles. Finish the gravy with curry leaves and coriander leaves.
