    In a bowl, combine the dosa batter, besan flour, carrom seeds, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and asafoetida. Adjust the consistency with water. The batter must be smooth and runny.

    Use any large leaf spinach like Palak/ Pasalakeerai. Wash and pluck the leaves. Heat a dosa tawa and brush some oil. Dip the leaves in the batter and cook both sides on the dosa tava until golden brown.
