Mix the salt and ajwain with the maida. Add the ghee and rub it into the flour using your hands.

Add water gradually and knead until you get a stiff dough.

Cover with a damp cloth and rest for 10 minutes.

Roll out into sheets thicker than a chapathi.

Prick it with a fork. Cut out into the desired size.

Deep fry on a medium flame until golden brown and crisp.
