Method
- 1
Place the sabudana in a bowl and add enough water to cover it. Let the sabudana soak for about 4-5 hours or until it becomes soft and fluffy. Drain any excess water using a strainer and set it aside. Add the soaked sabudana, finely chopped onions, green chili, garlic, crushed peanuts, mashed potatoes, curry leaves, coriander, salt, pepper, turmeric, red chili powder, and chat masala to a bowl. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.

Take a portion of the mixture and shape it into a ball of your desired size, Repeat this with the remaining mixture. Roll each ball in breadcrumbs, ensuring they are evenly coated on all sides. This coating will give a crispy texture when frying.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot enough (around 350°F or 180°C), gently place the popcorn into the pan, a few at a time. Fry the popcorn until they turn golden brown and crispy on both sides. This should take about 3-4 minutes per side. Once cooked, remove the popcorn from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil. Season with chat masala and enjoy.
