To a preheated pressure cooker, add oil along with the whole spices. Let them toast until fragrant, around 2-3 minutes Once they start to sizzle, add the banana stem. Saute it for 6-7 minutes on a medium flame

Then add the ginger garlic paste, salt turmeric. Cook until the raw smell of the ginger garlic paste dissipates Cover with water and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles on a medium heat. Once cooked, let the pressure release naturally before opening

Strain the solids from the liquid, do not discard the liquid Reserve around ½ Cup of the solids and blend the rest into a smooth paste Add the paste back to the cooker along with the cooking liquid and the reserved solids Once the soup has thickened, garnish with coriander leaves and cornflakes
