    Wash and soak rice and Toor Dal for 30 mins

    Grind the ingredients mentioned under To Grind and keep aside.

    Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add the tempering ingredients

    Add the shallots, red chillies and curry leaves.

    Once the shallots turn golden brown add tomato and saute it.

    try with coconut oil instead of groundnut and put some raw coconut while cooking try with mango pickle
