    Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add all the whole spices. Add the sliced onions and saute until golden brown.

    Add the mutton pieces and saute for 4 minutes on high heat, or until all the pieces get decent brown color.

    Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, Kashmiri chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, and water. Cover and pressure cook for 20 minutes.

    Once done, transfer the mutton to a wider pan/kadai. Stir continuously until it starts to thicken.

    Add garam masala powder, curd, and green chili. Saute until the excess liquid is completely evaporated.
