Add ghee into the pressure cooker and saute onions, crushed ginger, garlic and green chillies with some curry leaves.

Saute that till it’s mushy then add the tomatoes and saute till the paste is fully cooked. Add the masala powders and saute it for 5 minutes.

Now, add mutton, curd, mint leaves and coriander leaves and close the pressure cooker and cook it until the mutton is 85% cooked. (10 minutes under low medium flame would be enough)

Open the cooker, add the water and let it boil. Check for salt. Add rice and cook it for two whistles under medium flame.

Switch off the flame and let it rest for 10 minutes. Serve it hot with raita and papadam!
