    For the paste add all the ingredients into a blender and blend it into a smooth paste.

    Add the prepared paste to the mutton along with curd and mix thoroughly and let it sit for 30 minutes.

    In a deep pan add the peanut oil and ghee, add the whole garam masalas, and once aromatic add the sliced onion and green chillis and saute for 30 seconds, then add tomatoes, coriander leaves and mint leaves. Saute until the leaves wilt. Add the marinated mutton and cook until the raw flavour goes away.

    Add coconut milk, salt, and water, and bring it to a boil. Cover and cook the mutton on a low medium flame for 45-50 minutes depending on the quality of the mutton. Add soaked jeera samba rice and mix gently making sure the mutton doesn’t break. Bring it to a boil, simmer the flame, and cook on low heat for 12-14 minutes. Rest the biryani for at least 15 minutes, fluff up the rice and serve.
