    Extract the tamarind water and set aside.

    In a mixer jar add grated coconut, pepper, fennel seeds, half cup water and grind to a fine paste.

    In a bowl add the coconut paste, tamarind water, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix it well and set aside.

    In a pan add groundnut oil, coconut oil, urad dal, fenugreek and mix it for a while. Add shallots, Garlic and saute for 5 mins. Add tomato and saute for 5 mins.

    Now add the coconut mixture to the pan, add 2 cups of water and mix it well. Simmer it for 20 mins on a medium flame. Serve hot
