    Heat a pot, add ghee. Add Fennel seeds, cardamom, and Star Anise and let it crackle Add the onions and saute till it turns golden brown (5 minutes) Add the Kasuri Methi and Saute for a few seconds

    Add ginger garlic paste and mix for a few seconds Add the blended coriander mint paste and mix for a few seconds Add kashmiri red chili powder and the spice masala and mix for a minute

    Add the mutton and mix it with the masala for 5 minutes on a medium flame Cover and simmer the mutton for 35 minutes Open the pot, add the soaked and strained rice. Seal the pot tightly and place it on a preheated tawa for 15 minutes on a low flame Turn off the flame, and let it rest for 10 minutes
