    Wash and Soak basmati rice for 30 mins. Drain the rice using a strainer.

    Add the soaked rice to a mixer grinder and grind it into a coarse consistency. The ground basmati rice should resemble Sooji(Rava).

    In a mixer grinder add the mango and grind into smooth paste to extract the mango puree.

    In a deep kadai, add milk and cook till it comes to a boil by stirring occasionally.

    Add the ground rice mixture and cook till the milk is reduced into half and reaches the desired consistency.

    Add sugar, saffron strands, cardamom powder, pista, mix well and simmer for 2 mins.

    Add mango puree, mix well and remove from the heat.
