    Add the mutton mince, salt, ginger garlic paste, masala powders to a blender and blend till smooth. Transfer the mutton to a bowl and add the remaining ingredients for the urundai. Mix well till all ingredients combine evenly.

    Roll and shape them into even sized spheres. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the mutton on a medium flame for 10 minutes till it turns golden brown. Keep it aside.

    Heat a kadai, add oil, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, star anise, kalpasi, fennel seeds , green chillies, curry leaves and let it crackle.

    Add the onions and saute till it turns light brown. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.

    Add the masala powders and saute for another minute. Add the tomatoes and and mix till it becomes mushy.

    Add water, bring it to a boil. Season it with salt and black pepper powder and mix well. Add the fried mutton urundai and mix gently. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Cook till the gravy thickens. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot with rice.
